Zivver, a leader in secure communication solutions, has entered into a partnership with the National Coordination Center for Patient Distribution (LCPS).
The European Commission has asked if the Netherlands can accept patients who present themselves in EU neighboring countries of Ukraine with an urgent medical demand. The LCPS coordinates the reception and distribution of the medical evacuees and utilises Zivver to securely share the patient data of the medical evacuees with the hospitals involved.
Safe process guaranteed
To protect the privacy of Ukrainian patients, it is vital that personally identifiable data is shared securely online with the hospitals on location and in the Netherlands. Methods of data sharing must comply with laws and regulations, such as the GDPR and the Dutch norm NTA7516; therefore, Zivver was selected as the secure communications platform to ensure compliance and implemented within a short period of time.
Zivver is widely used in the healthcare industry due to its effortless ease of use. Zivver ensures that sensitive information can only be viewed by the right healthcare professionals and appropriate stakeholders, making it the ideal platform for LCPS.
