Designed to ensure that service providers are equipped to manage stakeholder data securely, SOC 2 Type 1 involves an internal audit of an organization’s controls in relation to data security, availability, processing integrity, and privacy.
What does SOC 2 Type 1 compliance mean?
The voluntary audit (performed by Conclude Accountants, with the implementation process performed by RiskLane) ceritifes Zivver as SOC 2 Type 1 compliant, with zero exceptions found.
A SOC 2 report investigates a third party service provider’s risk control framework, as well as the relevant controls and procedures in place to monitor it, providing organization’s with the assurance that Zivver adheres to best practice and that their data is safe with us.
Prepared in accordance with the Trust Services Criteria, SOC 2 assures that our controls are designed to keep pace with the rapid growth of cloud computing, business outsourcing, and all related challenges.
The SOC 2 Type 1 report shares the opinion of an external auditor regarding Zivver’s controls at the time of the audit, and examines whether the controls are suitably designed to provide reasonable assurance that controls are in place.
